what kind of visa/paperwork do i need as an american citizen to live/ work in st lucia?

in order to live there? you would have to find a job first, not sure where to guide you? not many offers, here is a link on St Lucia: http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1027.html#entry_requirements i have found just one link for St Lucia and job offers, http://www.hospitalityonline.com/jobs/new/

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs website for St. Lucia doesn't have any links to their embassy websites, but below is the info for the St. Lucia embassy in Washington, DC. You should probably just call them and see if they can mail or e-mail you the forms necessary for an employment visa: Saint Lucia 3216 New Mexico Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20016 Telephone: (202) 364-6792/93/94/95 Fax: (202) 364-6723.
